Sir,

2. With regard to Professor Simpson's Report, which was printed in London, 20 copies were sent to you under

cover of Sir Henry Blake's Despatch No. 340 of the 9th July last and 20 further copies by my Despatch No. 57 of the

not registered 18th February last. If the 50 copies now being forwarded are required for distribution to the Public I would suggest that

they should be sold at 10/- a copy either through the Crown Agents or Messrs. Stanford, as the book was produced at a

considerable expense to this Government and a very large free distribution of copies to many parts of the World has already

been made. In this connection I may mention that copies are sold here through the Government Printers at $5 each.

I have the honour to be, Sir,

Your most obedient

Humble servant,

Amay Officer Administering the Government.
